10 March 2022: In Katalukuli village, Fizi territory, South Kivu province, Maï-Maï militia members raided a health centre and kidnapped four male nurses and a driver, taking them to the Kakungu forest. One of the nurses and the driver managed to escape their kidnappers. Nurses in the Fizi health zone went on strike to demand the release of their kidnapped colleagues, impacting health services in the area. All were released by 26 March.
