01 February 2025: In Bahir Dar city, Bahir Dar Special zone, Amhara region, a doctor and researcher at Bahir Dar University’s Tbebe Gion College of Medical Sciences was shot and killed while returning from his place of work to his home by unidentified perpetrators around 19:00.
