11 February 2025: At the Jablah junction, Ibb city and governorate, the private Al-Jabali Eye Hospital was closed by Houthi rebels. Houthi gunmen were stationed inside the facility and refused to leave. 30 July 2023: In the Ain Al Hilweh Palestinian Refugee Camp, near Sidon city, district and governorate, fighting broke out between Fatah members and al-Shabaab al-Muslim militants. Shrapnel from a mortar shell fell on a military post outside the camp, wounding a Lebanese soldier. By 01 August, at least 11 people, including fighters, were killed, and 40 others, including children and an UNRWA employee, were wounded. UNRWA suspended its operations inside the camp.
