As reported on 14 April 2025: In Mirebalais city and arrondissement, Centre department, the Mirebalais University hospital, managed by the INGO Partners in Health, was repeatedly attacked by armed men for several days. Medical equipment, including power generators, was stolen and several doctors and nurses have been forced to flee. On 23 April, the hospital temporarily suspended its activities following the surge in armed violence in the area.
