13 November 2023: In Itota Mukera village, Mutambala sector, Fizi territory, South Kivu province, a humanitarian convoy of eight NGO vehicles which had just departed from the Lumbe IDP Camp, was attacked by a criminal group. Three vehicles were set ablaze. People aboard the convoy were taken hostage, before being released later. Phones, work equipment and money were stolen. Source: Media Congo . Return to DRC home page.
