17 March 2023: In Adunu community, Munya and Paikoro LGAs, Niger state,  gunmen killed a male medical practitioner during an assault on the Munya and Paikoro LGAs. More than 40 people, including women and children, were kidnapped. Ransoms ranging between NGN10,000 and NGN20,000 were demanded for the release of each victim. Source: Premium Times
