18 September 2023: At the jetty in Yae Kyi village, Pam Ma Ti village tract, Myitkyina township and district, Kachin state, two female nurses and a male Red Cross volunteer were among ten youths reportedly arrested by an ethnic armed organisation Kachin Independence Army.
